Terms of Service
Lab Hangout is a free multiplayer pixel game run by Josh Mathers. By playing, you agree to these terms. They're short, so please read them.
Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it. While the game is in testing, you need an invite code to get in.
Your player
You can play as a guest or log in with Discord or Google. A guest is saved in one browser only, so its progress can be lost. Keep your login secure. You're responsible for what happens on your player.
Be kind
Lab Hangout is for hanging out and having fun together. Don't:
- harass, bully, threaten or hate on anyone
- post sexual, violent or otherwise inappropriate content in chat, names or drawings
- spam, advertise or share other people's personal information
- pretend to be someone else, including staff or other players
- cheat, use bugs, run bots or scripts, or try to break, overload or get around the game's security
Chat is filtered and logged so we can moderate it. We can mute, remove or ban any player who breaks these rules, and we don't have to give a warning first. To report someone, click their character and choose REPORT.
Tokens and prizes
Tokens, prizes and unlocks are just for fun. They have no real-money value. You can't buy, sell or trade them for anything outside the game. We may change, rebalance or reset them.
What you post
You're responsible for your chat messages, your name and anything you draw or write in the game. You let us show it to other players and keep it for moderation, as the Privacy Policy explains.
The game itself
The game's code, art and music belong to their owners. Clawd is Anthropic's mascot and is used with Anthropic's permission. The sets and art style are adapted, with its creator's permission, from the pixel-art film "Claw'd Labs, Part 0". Please don't copy them.
No guarantees
Lab Hangout is a hobby project provided "as is". It may have bugs, go down, change, or shut down at any time, and your progress could be lost. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss that comes from using the game. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date at the top. If you keep playing after an update, you agree to the new terms.
